Abdominal Therapy

Are you experiencing pelvic pain, cycle issues, endometriosis, or PCOS? Digestive troubles, infertility, anxiety, or low back pain? Abdominal therapy is a powerful tool to work on these conditions. But nearly everyone could benefit from this type of work.

The gentle work of abdominal therapy helps to support the position of the uterus, increase the five flows (nerve, artery, venous, energetic, and lymphatic), reduce areas of adhesions and pain, and bring the body into a state of homeostasis. The areas of the body that abdominal therapy primarily addresses are the abdominal region from rib cage to pubic bone, and the low back region including sacrum, coccyx, QL, and glutes.

Benefits

Your first appointment will be 2 hours. During this time, we will do a consultation to cover your health history and your goals for the session. After this you will receive roughly 90 minutes of bodywork covering the abdomen, the back, and the hips.
Depending on time, additional work may be done in other areas such as the neck and feet to help balance the body.
At the end of the session, you will be taught a self-care routine to do at home to help you more effectively manage your own health. You may be given some extra instruction on additional therapies to try such as castor oil packs, or pelvic steaming.
